On-page Vs Backlinks : What is more important ?

Filed under: SEO — admin @ 1:06 am

Onpage SEO factors are coding practices we use to get attention of search engines while backlinks are the votes from other sites which in return help us to get attention of search engines.

Let us see an example to see what is best.

Suppose there is a hotel called “ABC Hotel”. This hotel is looking for customers.

Setting:

Hotel setting includes business name, hotel area, rooms, reception, dining area, swimming pool, bar, restaurant and etc.

Popularity.
This is the exposure and good name hotel has among the community.

How hotel get customers from setting?
First time customer sees the hotel setting and visit the hotel.

Customer visits the hotel WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION but JUST SEEN the setting.

How hotel get customers from popularity?

When previous customers or other sources recommend the hotel, first time customers will visit the hotel.

Here customer visits the hotel WITHOUT SEEN the hotel but JUST FROM RECOMMENDATION.

So we can see both methods are having different ways to get sales. Likewise both on-page and backlinks help search engines to determine our rank. I am not going to say what is superior. It’s up to you to decide.
